Do want to make a difference after you graduate? Change the future of America’s cities. Have you ever wondered what really goes on inside City Hall? Questioned why your city chose its policing strategy? Pondered how your tax dollars were being spent? Wished you could decide what potholes got repaired and what roads got re-paved? Developed a new way to help underprivileged children in your community? If you are a college senior or recent college graduate, here’s your chance to try your hand at running your city. Spend a year inside the highest levels of city government and see how it works from the inside out. Be a part of the policy decisions, from creation to design to evaluation to implementation. Be a part of the solution. Be a City Hall Fellow. We are currently accepting applications for our 8th cohort. The cohort will serve in San Francisco, CA from August 2012-July 2013. Application Deadline: Thursday April 12, 2012 at 11:59pm PT Key Dates for our 8th Cohort: The deadline to apply to our 8th cohort is Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11:59pm PT. Applications submitted late will not be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified whether they have been invited to interview on or before May 9, 2012. All applicants will be notified at exactly the same time. Finalist interviews will occur in San Francisco on May 21 and May 22, 2012. If you are invited to interview, plan to spend a full half-day with us. Finalists will have a say in which half-day session they interview. Fellowship offer letters will be extended on or before May 29, 2012. All finalists will be notified at exactly the same time.
