The Role Model of the Year Award is designed to recognize individuals who use their public presence to inspire others and give back to their community.
The 2013 recipient was Alfred Morris, Running Back for the Washington Redskins. Morris received his award at the Annual Conference on September 19, 2013. See the link to the right for video of the award presentation.
The Award was presented for the first time in 2012. Its inaugural recipient was Nnamdi Asomugha, cornerback of the Philadelphia Eagles.
