Partnership Development Director

As a member of the Civic Renewal Team, Kristi is responsible for partnership and program development and management. She contributes to the organization’s Civic Renewal Initiative through partnership development and management, strategic direction, project management, and communications. She has served previously in leadership roles in organizations focused on education, service and civic engagement—all with the view that civic health is a key vehicle to addressing community challenges. Kristi joined NCoC in September 2011 with a focus on growing the organization’s Civic Health Initiative research, programming, and partnerships. Before joining NCoC, she served at Georgetown University’s Center for Social Justice as director of the DC Schools Project. She has also directed programs for HandsOn Greater Phoenix and the Boys and Girls Club of Boston—Charlestown Clubhouse. She has a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree from Georgetown University, writing her thesis on how community engagement programs in higher education help shape the landscape for civic renewal.
