Nomination season is here again! Until June 24th, the U.S. Chamber BCLC is accepting applications for the 2011 Corporate Citizenship ~1@BODYURL[id=114kcurl74]@ (aka The Citizens).

Businesses of all sizes, trade associations, American Chambers of Commerce, and accredited local and state chambers of commerce that are U.S. Chamber members, as well as nonprofit organizations applying with a business partner are eligible for the highly coveted “Citizen” Award across four categories.

Some amazing corporate citizenship programs have been part of the Citizens during the award’s 11-year history. Watch this ~1@BODYURL[id=114kcurl75]@ to see the top nominees from 2010.

Like all sustained corporate citizenship programs, the BCLC Awards have gone through slight modifications in design and execution based on best practices and lessons learned. In reflection of the last decade of growth and refinement in the corporate citizenship field, BCLC is pleased to announce the new category names for The Citizens:
Best Business Neighbor (Formerly the U.S. Community Service Award)
Best International Ambassador (Formerly the International Community Service Award)
Best Partnership (Formerly the Partnership Award)
Best Corporate Steward (Formerly the Corporate Stewardship Award)
