Eric K. Federing AM, of Maryland, serves as Honorary Director of the National Japanese American Memorial Foundation, which is focused on Washington, DC’s National Japanese American Memorial to Patriotism in World War II. Federing was a Director of the Foundation from 2003 to 2013. He has been listed in Who’s Who in America annually since 2000 and Who’s Who in the World since 2015. He served for a dozen years as a senior advisor in the United States Senate and House of Representatives, and is a graduate of George Washington University, Phi Beta Kappa.
Independently, Eric created and directed pro bono the Uni-Capitol Washington Internship Programme for Australian university students; the course-credit experiential learning program concluded in early 2019 with its student participants having been the focus of dozens of statements in the Congressional Record and two Floor speeches in the Australian Parliament. In 2015, the Governor-General of Australia appointed Eric as a Member (honorary) in the Order of Australia.
Eric is currently a Managing Director of KPMG LLP, the global audit, advisory and tax firm. He is a senior strategic advisor to the firm’s management, practices, partners, and clients. He also serves on the Washington, DC Advisory Council of Global Kids.
